Hi there! I'm Harper, the founder and artisan behind Kiki Harper Designs. I have a passion for bringing artistry and meaning into everyday life through hand-dyed pieces.

I started hand-dyeing clothing and home goods in 2020, during the early pandemic days. What began as a creative outlet quickly became my calling. The delight I felt bringing each new colorway to life confirmed this was more than a hobby.

As the primary caregiver for my 28 year old daughter Kiki, who has special needs, this business enables me to honor our connection while also sharing my artistry.

Working out of my San Diego based studio, I carefully hand-dye each piece in small batches, turning them into one-of-a-kind works of art. I strive to dye with intention, mindfully crafting each item. I hope my pieces help you connect with your own inner magnificence and authentic spirit.

I'm profoundly grateful to my husband Stuart for his unwavering encouragement. His faith in me gave me the courage to pursue dyeing professionally while caring for Kiki. I'm also blessed by the steadfast support and encouragement from my four young adult children - their patience and willingness to lend an ear was key as I developed my skills. I'm blessed to have their support. I know this sounds more like an Oscar acceptance speech than an About Me page, but I truly could not have done this without my family's love.
